I have a daughter in Cardiff, and if i ride down to see her i follow the Racing Collective XduroWales route. Its really great and may hold some alternatives?

Re: Brittany, no not Ms Spears
Sorry for slight hijack but im doing Gravel tro Briezh in May. Due to the way leave fell at work i have time both before and after the event, so intend to ride with my partner from Cherbourg to Rennes.
Can anyone recommend a decent route that keeps us away from traffic?
Thanks

Re: Something Welsh for summer - Big Bear.
What would be the best bike for the route?
Will a gravel bike with 650b 47s be ok? Or will my rigid 29er be better?

Down trousers?
Mrs B is a cold sleeper, so invariably had a down jacket and hood as well as a nice down bag. She has little down booties but the key to warm feet is warm legs...so does anyone use down trousers? Anyone used the budget ones from Aliexpress etc? Any feedback appreciated

Re: drj0n bagworks
I really like this...i have two bikepacking bikes, one gravel, one rigid mtb. I have measurwd the stems using my vernier calipers Reilly is... I/s 30.6mm O/s 50.4mm Bolt head 10.2mm So assume c-c of 50.4 - 10.2 = 40.2 mm Cube (spesh stem) O/s 49.0mm Bolt head 8.0mm So assume c-c of 49.0 - 8.0 = 41.0...

Re: Newborough forest bivvy and pub recommendations
Newborough is so named as it was a new borough, created as a little colony where all the nuisance residents if anglesey were moved to. Think of it as an Australian analogy. It has a ton of antisocial behaviour priblems. There is a pub in the village but its not really a nice place. I would aim to be...
