I've just measured my narrow arse, and found that it is, indeed, narrow.

Looks like 130mm saddles are the sweet spot for me, which does limit my choice somewhat... I guess that's a good thing though, there are already way too many choices out there.

I bought the Edge 1040 for the battery life, which is unquestionably fantastic... but dear god do I hate the unit. It's slow, and the interface choices are a complete mystery to me.

I loved my Edge 1000, so this is especially annoying to me.

Oddly enough it wasn't a decent week. Too much alcohol, not enough training, but I guess the stress resulted in a meaningful chunk of weight loss.

I'm encouraged by the fact that page describes most of the problems I'm having.
