Re: What gear options?
No idea and I can't find my order, but it looked like this: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/MTB-Mountain-Bike-Road-Bicycle-Rear-Derailleur-Hanger-Extension-Extender-Frame-Gear-Tail-Hook-Extender/32893307679.html?spm=2114.search0104.3.149.37cb4c93pZOIUc&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_3_1...

Re: What gear options?
I have Tiagra on my CdF. 50/34 front rings. I dropped the rear mech with a £1.83 wolflink copy from China and used a deore 46/11 cassette which cost under £30 from bike-discount.de. Works a treat.

2.2 OR 2.35 29er tyres?
First foray into the 29" world. Building a Santa Cruz Chameleon. Got a set of Hope Pro4 XC wheels which seem to have quite a narrow rim. Looking at the Maxxis Ikon for the rear and the Ardent race at the front, both in the TR EXO 3C MaxxSpeed 120 version. Both available in 2.2 or 2.35. Bike-dis...

From a quick forum search, you're somewhere in the deep south on the wrong side of the M62. ;-) Where's your normal playground?

Before I buy a new one. I'm interested in either the Ocelot XL, Alpamayo size 3 or Apidura Backcountry 6l. Thanks.

Haven't watched the programme mentioned yet, but thought that you may also want to watch this one too: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0bt4f2q/groundbreakers-dufferin-adventures-in-high-latitudes Leon McCarron has cycled around the world but is also a good story teller. Re: hammock for a big un?
Look on the hammock forums. Most of the US made ones are for big lads. I'm just over 100kg and have no fear of mine failing. It's a Nomad XL. Might have come from Ronnie Sunshines. They're easy enough to make though and then you get to choose the material, or use 2 layers. I use climbing tape for th...

That's very nice. Have a look at Polaris Fixies. They sell a 10 pack which is really useful.

Re: Rear Light Mount
Glad you like it. Feel free to suggest improvements. You can drill a hole through the side to ty-wrap the cable to. The outer skin is 1.5mm thick so it should be almost solid in that area.
I'm looking at doing one with a cateye mount for myself.

Re: Rear Light Mount
I have a Cateye which can be mounted at all sorts of angles. I tried it on the offside seat stay and decided that it was only visible properly from that side of the bike, so mine is back on the seat post. Plus it was too easy to rotate it into the spokes. Happy to create designs though, and they don...

It'll cost you the postage. What diameter are the mounting screws? I'll do you a 1:1 pdf and you can print it out first.

As long as it's OK in black, I'll do one at work. We've always got something on the machine so it won't look out of place. I spend all day on cad so if the main shape is OK, I can copy it into a new part. Give me whatever dimensions you think you need.
