A kilo off in a week, happy with that! I've been using my fitness app to try and cap my calorie intake to 2000 and managed to go out for a short run on night. Hoping to do some cycling this weekend at some point, may even squeeze a bivvy in!

Passed my NNAS bronze award at the weekend, amazing how much info is drawn onto a map you never see until it's pointed out to you. I may do a few map based trips this year to help hone the skills I was taught.

I'd like to get down to 80kg by summertime but I've just taken a new job that'll see me at a desk all day so it'll be tough going!

I'll throw my name in the ring for next year, just taken a job 40 miles away so I'll be commuting by car rather than bike and desk bound for most of my day so I'll have to keep my ever expanding waistline in check!

I'm parked up at the garage in Dalwhinnie, chaps happy for us to leave the motors here overnight. Off to the cafe for a coffee before I sort my kit
