Re: Cranktank 3 vs cages on fork + smartwater bottles
Church ones are outside usually round the back. Any with tended graves/gardens will have a tap. Some really old churches with really old graves dont have them.So is it common for churches and graveyards to have taps to refill? good to know

Two 500 ml.bottles.one normal.ome.a.filter bottle. Geneslly inly use the later late at night. 3 litres.of water is 3 kg and the.uk is pretty wet so off road there are always rivers and on the road there are always churches / graveyards and also peoples houses. Re: Aeroe rear rack thoughts
Its clearly.a bad idea to inflict clamping forces on a carbon tube and almost certain to end in disaster ( esp if you give it enough time )
The racks do look pretty bomproof though

Re: Is this 'bikepacking'?
No camping is just not bike packing.its litterally a portmanteau of bike and camping. 1. Yes , just 2.no just a long bike ride 3.correct its not 4.still bikepacking you are allowed a shower at domenpoint and every 10 days seems reasonable to still be a tramp  5. Still bikepacking ( even the re...

Re: Is this 'bikepacking'?
I think if you travel by bike from place to place carrying all the stuff you need for that journey then it's bikepacking. It's not what most of us do but why not? I think you need to carry your camping equipment. With your definition i could carry tools and an inner tube and turn up at hotels and s...

Genuinely laughed at this and agree with what you said. Ebikers with their choices are making everything unrideable even when it dries out its ruttted terribly.you could say what you wanted as a fast walking pace would outrun it

The BOAT (byways open to all traffic) There is a walkers website somewhere explaimg why bridleways dont apply to bikes as bikes did not exist whem the routes were created etc. I support everyone having access to the countryside. Seems a weird thing to do, and the article /councillor was unclear about whether its for 4x4 or a bike route. I also fear we (cyclists) are in danger of beimgn ike walker forums about cycling routes with 4x4 its like there is a pecking order of coutryside users /groups to despise Every group should ...

Reasonable point and i am certainly getting close to it (IMHO others may think i have passed it allready) so will shut up now and bow out the threadinternet flaming and stating things are a rip off is all too common when we haven't used a service.

Re: Off Topic - siezed, rusted, possibly double threaded, sheared bolt extraction advice!
This is true. Its a rate for a service. Splitting hairs as his service will take about 20 mins and is an extortionate hourly rate. ( evenn+ if you include travel) Amazed anyone would pay £150 for a two second weld. It could be a total nightmare. Its about the easiest weld you could ever do apart fr...
