Re: Todays ride

This mornings ride resulted in a pair of crows and donkeys near shingay. A Barn owl near guilden Morden and a pair of red kite's in ashwell. Plus countless skylarks every day over the last three weeks. Any one riding near Princes Risborough will literally see a hundred red kite's on a good day, (unf...

Re: Chain Length / Geartrain Noise / Skipping

The mech hanger is a good shout by gregsie.
There is also a possibility of the top jockey fouling the cassette sprocket on some gears causing excess noise. If so,screw the b-stop screw in clockwise untill it pulls the jockey and chain away from the sprocket slightly.

Don't want to ask you to suck eggs etc. But did you also replace the cassette ?
Imo the chain length looks fine.

Re: Tell me three things that...

In case anyone's interested, this is what it looks like to be astride a 1400 horsepower bike. I met Ian King in the US some years ago, a proper gent but maybe slightly mad. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WAKvswf3Fs Used to go to Santa Pod in my younger days in 70's n 80's. Yes, the sad thing is that it appears that the bothy is the point rather than just being part of a trip. All the people I met had driven as close to the bothy as possible. I find it sad too Steve. For many, the journey now seems to be a mere inconvenience. Agree with you both. Generally find everyo...

Re: Camera Phones (Sorry)

Was going to suggest p30 or p30pro just like everyone else here. Or I have had a Xperia Z3c ,very waterproof, good camera, and is a good cycle computer/sat nav using ipbike app and it works with ant+ bike and heart rate transmitters! Less than £100 reconditioned. A new P30 is just about in your budget...

I am also interested too. I have read Lois books. Her and her husband Vince are adventure bikers. Met them at ace cafe and various book shops. Originally the festival was in London...not my cup of meths! But,now at Cotswolds ,it is more appealing. Unfortunately, non of my biking mates have been eithe...
