Re: WRT - remote weigh in?

42lb for me but that was with two empty bottles so I reckon 45lb is about right.

Re: WRT

My ‘not the WRT’ is going pretty well so far. Plenty of gravel on an inappropriate bike, carrying too much stuff, dodgy route choices, on-the-fly changes of plan, funny tasting coffee and cold camp sites. I even visited some old mines.

Re: WRT

I'm out. Car broken, plans gone to sub standard. Hopefully I can get my leadout man to pick up my t-shirt. I was actually looking forward to it too. Change of plans here as well; starting from Rhayader not Bristol today not yesterday. Different bike and route too. I think I’m going to precise...

Re: Impossible to fit a bar bag?

Ditch the cross top levers and get the hope thing mounted as close to the underside of the stem as possible, maybe with some elbow/banjo fittings to get some clearance to the hoses.

Re: who rides Ti ?

Anyway, I've got one Ti frame, designed by Brant at Pact to my specification and made by Waltly in China. I got it because I wanted a very specific design of frame that wasn't available off the peg and didn't want a painted finish that would wear out. It's great, but is now 4 years old and I'm waiti...

Re: who rides Ti ?

I would suspect that the price of decent FEA software puts it out of the reach of those who would be designing small batches of Ti frames.

The Dyfi road climb I assume is the road to Corris past the CAT.

Take the lane to the south east across the golf course through Forge. Keep going UP for about 5 miles. :-bd

Re: WRT GR on their way.

Q about the GR just east of Goginan: are the 'other routes' that meet at that point all rideable and accessible from the other ends?

Re: This should work, right?

Second potential solution sounds like a microshift 10 speed MTB ratio bar end shifter (if such a thing exists). - they do, they're not great ime though. It's because of where the indents/'index click' point is and where the shift happens compared to where the lever settles back to... vague at times...

Re: Hope Evo Pro 2 Freehub Question.

If they're the 40T engagement version then Hope do make a freehub body that allows you to fit 11 speed road cassettes to these hubs. Otherwise you're limited to 8/9/10 and 11 speed MTB cassettes.
