I made my own- the lower is hollow and has a larger internal diameter than the reverb collar so I didn't lost much drop.

It's taken me a year to get round to it but finally put a new battery in an old joystick following these instructions. Hardest part was getting all the wires back in! (I did add a bit of length to let me take the battery out without cutting the wires next time)

The contact in the back of my joystick is a bit out, unless you get it just so the light doesn't turn red when charging. Still charges though. Everything works as it should using my maxx d and other half's exposure lights. I think some of the chargers can be a bit iffy- have you another you could try?
