What about the Answer Pro Taper 20/20 ? I've got a pair on my fat bike and really like them, less sweep than the Jones and a slight rise

Six Moon Designs Lunar Solo and carbon pole SOLD
SMD Solo in green and Barebones carbon pole.
Used three times however at 6'2" I need just a tad more length.
It's been seam sealed and as you'd expect is in fantastic condition. The pole is 6 section and folds to just 23.5cm

Re: Wst Kernow Way complete.
I rode this starting on the monday evening after the publication date and met a couple at Marazion who'd already completed it , though they had cut a chunk off to catch a train. I wanted to like this route having lived in Falmouth 15 years ago but honestley its poor show. Far too high a % of road w...

TAX on bikes from abroad
If I found myself in Germany, walked into a bike shop and bought one, do I pay the German equivalent of VAT or is it exempt working on the theory I'd get picked up for VAT on returning home?

Re: Wst Kernow Way complete.
Just ridden the WKK (most of it) over the past two days. There are some stunning views and trails along parts of it. A lot of the ride follows the Tiners Way and also the Cornish Way. Food/refreshment can be an issue (bad news Mike😉) so it's a case of grab what you can when you can. Tbh huge amount ...

Funny enough I went into my lbs this morning and picked up one of those and it fits a treat. Problem so...

Re: Show Me Your 6 Pack
Having similar problems since the change of bike and bars. I've flipped my Garmin 'out front' mount so it now points towards me (more of an 'out back' now) this lets me use my Garmin battery pack but still struggling to get enough height on the light. I've got a 31.8 bar mount (the double accessory ...

Re: Jones tomcat bag
Straps are uncut and with the exception of a very small hole at the front of the bag near the port for the dynamo/charger cables it's very good (couple of mm. I'd actually forgotten about it until I checked just now. It's been taped internally and never been an issue. I think it rubbed on one of my ...

I looked at that this morning and downloaded it to komoot (keeping it to the original track). Says 77 miles of road. Seems a very high percentage?

Unfortunately these get in the way of my controls. Only one has been fitted and removed straight away, its as new but I'm not comfortable returning it as its been 'fitted'.
I've now swapped them put to the 35mm.
£20 posted, original box etc..

consider an alternative lever? https://r2-bike.com/BIKEYOKE-remote-Triggy-for-dropper-seatpost says it compatible with the highline, in stock and very slightly cheaper. I've ordered from R2 in the last few weeks, 5 days delivery and no VAT/import (not sure if customs are too busy and just pass small...

Re: sub standard rant time
Sunday morning we went out for our weekly coffee and cake run, usually to a local beach. On this sunny day we (2 of us) headed to Exmouth. Now I'm not naive enough to think it was going to be like a deserted island BUT it was absolutely rammed. Loads of people clearly on "holiday" from Lon...

Pressures- been using this recently.
https://axs.sram.com/guides/tyre/pressure
Only major changes across my bikes were my road pressures, now running 73/75 down from late 80's. Roll just as fast and way more comfortable (albeit all the wheels are now running slightly lower pressures).

Re: anyone got either the Salsa cradle/harness or Specialized Burra Burra?
Thanks all :-bd I've spent the afternoon tinkering and actually found an accessory mount in one of the spares boxes. It sits the harness far enough away from the bars to let me attach the harness clearing the cables. "Dirty Teeth" - hadn't considered that, worth a try just for weight savin...

Re: anyone got either the Salsa cradle/harness or Specialized Burra Burra?
Why not add the Acepac harness to the mix :-bd allen (escape goat) should be able to measure up and Stu should have stock for april I've currently got the Alpmayo which appears to be very similar to the Acepac. I need to move it further away from the bars although I'm now wondering if I can use the...
