https://i.imgur.com/F9nV98F.jpg Nice barends Shafiq :-bd I'm really pleased with the way mine are placed. I found them really comfy with a bit more of an upward angle and a double wrap of tape. Edit: those are actually exactly the same barends I have on my of bars. Nice narrow clamp which helps whe...

Re: Stooge 19 deg bend bar
On a slight tangent how are people getting on with on one's geoff loop bars? purely personal opinion but i found the Geoffs had too much back sweep and brought back the numbness problems my OG bars had alleviated. I sometimes find my hands a bit cramped on the grips so am going to try the ritcheys ...

Re: Stooge 19 deg bend bar
On one OG bars are a good compromise on cost, I run mine with some barends further in than the levers for a Jones light (of cost and weight) setup.

Wanted: 27.5" WTB ranger 2.8 light or other rear tyre
Looking for the above or another lightish 2.6"-2.8" x 27.5" tyre suitable for the rear of my stooge. Needs to be tubeless compatible too.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: What Plus tyre?
Not for me. The 2.8 went straight up with the track pump only. My 3.0 needed the use of an air shot thingy. They are set onto WTB i40 Sraper rims. That's reassuring. My trailblazers went up fine scrapers & further down that review the tester states: "I have a feeling that this was a somewh...

Re: What Plus tyre?
Lazarus, i guess that will be down to the rim tyre combo in the test set up. surly rabit hole + ranger 29+ (tough/fast).
if it's a bugger to fit i'll be off to the compressor at the 24hr garage.

Re: What Plus tyre?
pretty sure i read a review of it - possibly bikepacking.com where the tester failed to set it tubeless and had to take it to a shop who described it as the hardest they had ever done https://bikepacking.com/gear/wtb-ranger-review/ Need a new one and have the trailblazer - ripped so works fine but ...

Re: What Plus tyre?
Is it not meant to be a nightmare to set up tubeless - anyone any experience of doing this ? Depends on tyre and rim fit. i've been really lucky with mavic, wtb and halo rims working well with (new) vittoria, schwalbe + WTB tires. This is what I do: Clean rim with IPA/disc cleaner put Gorilla or Ka...

I've been running a 2.25" goma on the back of my stooge during the clag season and am looking for potential summer replacement (wishful thinking).
What recommendations would you give me for a light rear tyre in 2.5" to 2.8"?
