Re: Fork for Marin frame.

I think you can get an axle, although it ain’t cheap as it’s a NAILD one, I didn’t ask about the hanger but as it’s still a current model in the states, there must be one.

Re: Fork for Marin frame.

Thanks, so cable disc brakes and a QR not an issue on bumpy stuff ?

So how do I select a fork, unfortunately Marin only lists a fork rake of 49mm and a head tube length of 198mm. No A-C.

Good spot !

That’s good news as my LBS stocks Tifosi. On checking out the geometry though, on the Tifosi site, it’s totally different stack and reach to the Planet X site....I wonder which one is correct :???:

Haha. They do a stealth version too though. Arkose ltd looks fun but a strange di2 setup.

Hmmm that does confirm what I have heard about Planet X’s customer service.

Holdsworth Mystique

https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/CBHOLMYSFOR1/holdsworth-mystique-sram-force-1-gravel-bike-700c-wheels What do people think of this ? Seems a good spec, space for 700x45, threaded BB, loads of mounts. Would be used as winter bike and bridleway basher. Seems to tick all my boxes but do I have to be wary...

New wheels not true, Evans fobbing me off...

So bought a Jamis dragonslayer 27.5+ from Evans. Very happy with it but both wheels don’t run true, probably only a few mm out but it is visible when spinning the wheels. Took it back so they could true the wheels, picked it up yesterday to be told that they could not get the wheels true, due to the...
