Re: Travel insurance for cycling

Used a couple over the years, last two were DogTag & Sports Cover Direct. Even though i didn't claim on either, even when i should have one year, I'm not convinced about DogTag. It could be worth doing some research on reviews. Sports Cover Direct appeared to be much more proffessional, i was ab...

Re: Multi Day Parking Dumfries & Galloway?

There'll be places to park in Castle Douglas & Newton Stewart. You can easily ride from Newrton Stewart into Kirrogtree..
There's places at the side of the road at the south end of Clattering Shores, on the A712, but i'm not sure if i'd want to leave a vehicle there for more that one night..

Re: Sciatica & cycling!

11/12 (With a paid for accom last Jan)

Manage to push through the procrastination & drag myself out into a wet-one last night.
Took the lunar instead of the bivi to try & keep some of the rain off. Wasn't the best pitch due to space, but survived!

After a couple of failed attempts over the last couple of nights, managed to head out late last night to a local spot. Expected it to be cold, but was actually fine in the woods..

Re: Zip Repair

The zips are properly fecked, my fault for using the waterproofs on the sea and the salt has done the damage. I thought Nordy's gimp mask came with a warranty attached to his entire dungeon? Think he may of had a similar experiance to you Dave, in that he said the warranty didn't cover wear due to ...

Have a search on eBay for ‘humanscale chair’ John, the high-back type is the one to get. Still pricy 2nd hand like, but if you keep an eye out you may find something reasonable..
