Jtek Special Thumb Shifter Brackets

These take bar end shifters to make thumbies. I actually preferred them to the Pauls ones I had before as these put the shifters nearer the bars. £15 posted https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/gear-spares/jtek-special-thumb-shifter-brackets-for-222-mm-bars-black/ https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51287775...

10% would seem reasonable, just can’t face paying full price for anything there. A victim of their own shenanigans!

WTB Nanos here, I specifically got the Race version rather than the TCS version for the same reason. Any TCS WTB tyres won't seat with tubes for me.

Re: Recommend me a new hardtail

Nah ec34. I actually mailed them this week, Mk5 in August and scramblers next spring. Not an easy bike to actually buy! Maybe an earlier incarnation? Joys of being a one man band I suppose. Only so much money to purchase with and a popular product. I know Andy did say he was hoping to get things re...

Aren't they designed to be used with a rigid fork rather than suspension?
They are built round a rigid fork but many people do fir sus' forks to them.
Can you still buy straight steerer forks that will fit though

Wild Country Hoolie 2 ETC tent

Used for one trip in the US camping out of the back of a Chevy for a few weeks. Porch is massive which is why we got it. Super easy to pitch and a great tent. Excellent condition, only pegs show signs of use as expected. I need something bigger now... £150 posted https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...

Re: SS road bikes for touring

I think the first thing is to fully accept that you will be compromised 50% of the time. After accepting that fact, go and buy a SA kickback two speed hub ... it's almost like having gears but there's no shifters or cables, so no one will know :-bd This is exactly what I have on my ‘single speed’ r...

Have a pair of schwalbe snow stud 700x38 in the loft, used them once then decided could never be arsed fitting them again, if it’s Ivey or snowy I’ll go for a trail run instead. It’s just the odd day not months on end

I never managed to visit the planet x store because whenever I was near it I could never park anywhere, so for me it was a stupid location. Hopefully the Alpkit store will be easier to visit as being able to see the bikes would be good.
