Recommend a fleece
One of my favourite riding jackets is an old liner fleece out of a snowboarding jacket. It's a fleece but so thin you can see through it when you hold it up to the light. It also has 3 zipped pockets but 2 of the zips have failed now so it's ready for replacement.
Thanks,
Rob

Re: camper van bike storage ?
my bikes went on a full length roof rack. I carried a telescopic ladder and locked them to the rack. The paintwork on the bikes did get a bit abused though and it kind of felt like an accident waiting to happen but mine is a smaller van that only just fits a double bed in. It also has a ramp so I ca...

Re: Family Size Inflatable Tent Recommendations.
That makes sense. I always thought they'd be hard to pack away having to squeeze the air out but as i say i've no experience with them.
Best of luck, let us know what you decide on

Re: Family Size Inflatable Tent Recommendations.
I personally don't see the appeal of an air tent but i've never used one. I bought this (for 150 sept '20) but haven't used it yet. Our van isn't usable for sleeping in since my son arrived 9 months ago so rather than a drive away awning i bought the tent. https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/camping-tent-...

I think the best solution would be to fix your back, is there any yoga/strength training you could do?

Does a gyroscope in the opposite direction actually cancel out the affect or does it just double it?

if you've wanted one for years just scratch the itch. I personally don't worry about bike weights too much and would probably prefer a reynolds stainless over ti.

Re: Winter gravel
I think I will opt for the Mondials from Spa as recommended earlier,
From what I can see the 50's cost twice as much and I guess it also depends what/if you plan to run mudguards?

Re: Winter gravel
OP have you ran the Riddlers tubeless?
I have had one ride on mine and got a puncture. Not sure whether to try them tubeless or just replace them. I've been looking at the Schwalbe Hurricane's.

My 2x10 with 3" knards would rub the chain when I had it in the lowest gears. Even if it doesnt touch it still picked up loads of mud off the sidewall.
It rode really nice though so enjoy.

if you take the mirror off will you be left with a stub to remove with mole grips?
It also shouldn't be that tight to remove as its not seized in and isn't under load anymore

Re: Fork for Marin frame.
yea just looked at marins site. It says hanger 38/39 for the four corners up to 2019 so its likely that one and is £24. The old elite frames used to be columbus thron tubesets i think but i'm not sure these are?
