Re: Bivvy a month 2023.
Evening all, I'm new to the forum/bikepacking and was inspired by all the amazing posts to try the 'Bivvy a Month' challenge. Possibly a daft question, so do humour me! Can I start this month and carry on till next October, or do I have to wait until January to begin? Many thanks!: ) Welcome, I sta...

I packed reasonably light with just bivvy bag, down jacket, leggings and thick socks for emergency sleep You seem to have missed sleeping bag off that list Lee. With it being as warm as it was what I'd taken would of done the trick, thankfully it kept me pedalling. Great to meet and ride with you H...

Re: BB200 2023
Hi peeps, after entering the previous 4 BB200 events (2x shoulder injuries, 1x covid & 1x head not in the game) this was the first one I've actually made to the start line (so 1st one in 5 attempts  ) so that in itself was a win in my book. I packed reasonably light with just bivvy bag, sl...

Some tubeless valves, now fitted and sealed up. That means my new Fairlight Holt is ready to ride. Just sitting on it feels world's apart from the Stooge I've been riding for years and I can't remember the last time I rode a bike with suspension. There's a strong temptation to ride it this weekend ...

Bar tape 2x new tubes and still waiting on 2x new tyres for the lads road bike. He wanted to try a road bike and as it was a bit of a steal at £150 for a full carbon Ribble off a work colleague its worth a few new bits to tidy it up, personally I think it'll be sold on as he's more football than cyc...

Will be pulling the Reba fork off in favour of the rigid on the Big Bro for the winter and probably before the BB200, more than likely be hanging the Full suss up for the winter for the arrival of the slop around North Wales bridlepaths etc

August BAM Report So guess what, got it done with 59 minutes to spare.
