thanks for the replies, read the article about the bridge club seems ok, but I have 148 hubs and a tapered fork which I suspect I will end up using at some point, which is why i'm thinking about the km, I have a bike with horizontal dropouts and a aftermarket gear hanger which doesn't give any grief...

has anyone got one or tried one, are they heavy, does the rear wheel system really work, is it a faff to get wheels in or out as you have to force it in/out depending on axle size, does it affect the brake alignment , will it make a sit up and beg type bike with jones type of bars, thanks

mine is ok, size wise and washing hasn't affected it, no real pong test yet as it's winter do like the feel of it when wearing it long sleeve would be ace.

tad windy and slippy but still a great trip, night out was really good wind whipped up a couple of times and it rained a bit but we were all warm and dry this morning
