Each is at least 40 minutes from the route planned though.
Either would be an epic hike a bike up from gatesgarth farm

Re: North Lakes Spring Break - 19-20th March

Would anyone be interested in riding as a group? Be fairly relaxed. If lots we can split across a couple of groups. Stopping for photos, snacks, and admiring the view. We'd aim to stop at one of the bivi spots. I was under the impression the intention was for a non competitive groupride type thing....

Re: WRT and routes.

I’ve never done the WRT so I’m maybe not the best judge of this but… Do you want or need to encourage more people onto the WRT? A WRT is much like a collection of cats. We are all herded together by Stu, then, at the start, disappear off into the woods for several days. Returning when we want food ...

Re: WRT and routes.

Seems a good idea to me. Gives an option for people with limited experience of route planning to get out and ride. Like others here I have always seen the WRT as a social event, why I tend to join other groups, doesn't mean I am not able to plan a ride, merely means someone else is; John's ride was ...

Re: OT: Opinions, Hillieberg Soulo owners

Was considering such a tent for bikepacking with my partner. Figured we don’t need “bombproof”, so lighter and cheaper might be available. Anyone experience of the MSR Access 2? Designed for ski touring, so could be ideal for bikepacking and backpacking we do. Light Spacious enough for two Packs sma...

Looks interesting.
Now, if only there was a way to fully lock the screen of an edge 1030.
Damn annoying when rain makes the edge change screen, and that’s with sensitivity set to minimum.

Re: BB200 route.

Maybe Stu should make the 300 compulsory if you've got at least 3 black badges Or perhaps just one black badge ... it'd be like the SS championships where the winner got given a tattoo, so most people aimed for second place. I could see the amount of blue badges going up  Just in - Powys Poli...

Many years ago I did dusk til dawn.
There was a rule that you had to finish the lap once started.
There were quite a few of us waiting for 8am, then a mass finish.
A group waiting outside the school gates. 😂

bikepacking with a mirrorless camera ...what lenses do you take?

Re: BB200 route.

For the November group

The surface is 100% rideable.
The gradient not necessarily so in a few places.

Probably the most gravel bike friendly bb route I’ve ridden.
Though a hardtail would be more fun on the single track and technical downhill.
