It's basic anatomy principles. Being a PORG you've got a surface area to volume ratio equivalent to a field mouse and therefore loose heat more easily and don't eat enough to keep fueled.*

My mate bought one with a Rohloff to do some insane trans-continental tour (think it was England to Africa but could be wrong). He sacked it in Portugal for various reasons. Great idea, insane prices IIRC. Ukhammocks do tentsile(sp?) stuff that is similar though on a smaller scale. They seem to need ratcheting up to give enough floor rigidity which seems like greater faff and scope for it going wrong compared to the simplicity of a more regular hang. Would live to try e...
