OK, if I spend 100 smackers on Assos, what do I really get that I wouldn't with those from Lusso eg? (Never been close enough to someone with that sort of $ to ask)

I'd second the earlier about Selle Italia - my first ever was a flite (the long thin one with no padding) and nothing since (and I've tried quite a few including gel and 'cutaways') has been better. Long-time riding mates have had similar experiences too..

As tommid says, in your neck of the woods so come along any time - Sat evening / Sun morning was around 100K with a night in a field 'somewhere off the Peddars Way', a stop for breakfast in Hunstanton and a bit of route finding on the way home. Would be good to have some input on trails east of Wals...

If you had a sat nav and didn't know the area, would it be easy to follow? Outside riding, this is the other thing to worry about FWIW The 1st time I tried it with 'well marked up 50K maps' (the sort of think I'd happily use to get from A to B off road in most places and with nav/mapreading skills ...

Wondering if Mike Hall's 'breathing difficulties' might be from pine pollen? (Gather from other forums following there's a lot of it there right now and getting asthma from it myself know what a b****r it can be)

Cheers Stu... so, the Borah's Achilles heel for our side of the pond is primarily sewn, unsealed seams? I think I can see my way to waving a tube of sealant around one... :)

'Moving the down around' does sound like a good idea (enLightened offer the 'KARO' system eg) but is it much use in practise?
