It's rides nicely doesn't weigh a lot.

My meths set up
Is the burner out of a trangia alike with a cheapo windshield that fits inside a 750ml ti pot.
The pot sits on a spoke bent into a v shape and poked through 4 holes in the windshield.
The whole lot fits inside the pot along with a sponge/scrubber, lighter and folding cup.

I swear by lake MX 161.
I am a 43 but I buy these in a 45
I suspect I could get away with a wide fit 44
But they haven't worn out yet.
They're not flash or ultralight or waterproof.
But they are durable, affordable and comfortable.

Re: Anyone tried a Rockbros illuminated helmet?
I have a MET something or other.
And have an alpkit head torch pretty much permanently attached to it.
If I'm riding in town I set it on flashing.
I think it makes me more visible either side of the A Pillar Blindspot.

Hi
I'm not being deliberately annoying, it just comes naturally.
WD40 should not be used anywhere near electronics or contacts.
Use contact cleaner instead.
That is all.
Bye.

Wow Thanks for replies Yeah, I guess I will have to stick with what I've got for a bit and keep saving my pennies. I really like the look of the lunar solo. Keeps the bugs out and I don't have to use a bivvi bag. The 3.5 has been used in a storm and it did stay upright, just. I didn't get much sleep...

Trailstaralike
Hello I'm looking to reduce the weight of my setup. I currently use an alpkit hunka and exped mat. I have an alpkit r i g 3.5 with BB alloy poles. (Usually, i just take the bivvi bag) I'm quite tempted by a Chinese trailstar. Is it possible/advisable to use a trailstar without a bivvi bag? Also I as...
