From the "rules" link Greg posted previously: No rider will be notified of possible relegation mid-race. It is the sole responsibility of all riders to know the rules, police themselves, and in cases of course deviation, recognize their error + correct it before proceeding on route. Ideall...

Thought the Como thing also counted as outside assistance with Nav' so maybe related to that or in combination :???:

Whatever, she's ridden all the way across the States. Pretty vaguely exciting thing to have achieved anyway

This might contain some help: http://bearbonesbikepacking.co.uk/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=10265  I think the answer is usually MTB and road Shimano stuff has different pull ratios so is not compatible but an "old style" 9 spd mech usually works and if it fouls the cassette get a...

I also get frustrated with reviews published by bike journos, using spanking new kit, they rarely report on how well something works after its had a good thrashing, and, ultimately they know their words have to satisfy an editor acutely aware of the industry money keeping their publication alive. Me too. However, it's a tight month (bought a kayak) and TBH a built one on B2W will be cheaper / better value as I'd need to get wheels and tyres if frame only.

(Good) yoga. It lacks a certain something compared to more dramatic or adrenaline activities but if you can relax into it the mental (bloody hippy) and physical benefits are pretty good, IMO. Also, a good instructor or programme will be able to focus on the bits that are broken, tired or need streng...
