Full price items only IIRC.
They used to be erratic with that in store as their discounting is all over the place, seem to be tightening up these days though with SD in charge
JD rather than SD for Go Outdoors isn't it?

Re: How would you carry a bike on shoulders!?

Arizona Trail Tace isn't it that mandates carrying across the Grand Canyon section? That's for 20 odd miles iirc so I'd want more than some nylon webbing for that. Regarding Snowdon, I'd apply liberal amounts of Rule 1 for that. Ban or no ban if it's deserted, ride it. If it's chocka avoid like the ...

Ràpha MTB Trail ones are good. Wore them for Grinduro so not too baggy for doing a lot of pedalling in. The adjusters work well and the pockets are sensible. Bet you ride a Salsa gravel bike to go with your Raphà kit  • • • •   I have two in fact, and kit that matches them bot...

Many of us will no doubt end up with them as we age- way better than not riding. Round my way I increasingly see people half my age on them as humans ,even when exercising, are incredibly lazy. At some point ebikes will be the norm. By going somewhere on an eBike they've already done better than a ...

While I'm the last person on earth who should be saying this... unless you have trouble fitting all your kit on the Bossnut then it's probably as good as anything. Probably no heavier than an all steel bike like my old Fargo! You might also feel less fatigued from a cushioned ride. If you are going ...

Couple of these should do it and a battery pack if you're really going for a winter all nighter:

Bit of a bargain for £25 I reckon.

Li-Po certainly. Li-Ion is a fair bit less risky. If not bought through (at best) grey channels.

Re: Gravel porn

While it's built for speed, so says Reilly, this is very much practical and fast gravel rather than US-style, minimal aero gravel, as the Reflex can run a dropper post and dynamo lights with fully integrated cabling and has huge 55mm tyre clearance. This bit I don't understand, it's "practical...

I've got a Warroad and Cutthroat and the Warroad probably does get more use (in number of rides undertaken) distance wise the Cutty probably still has the lead. If I could only have one it would be the Warroad, but the Cutty could take you on a better ride!

After my last pair fell apart I got a pair of endura humvee plus gloves, also have a bit of gel. They are OK (and hard wearing) but the velcro never stays closed. I've had a pair of the fox ones Alpinum mentions and they were pretty good. Not sure what happened to them though.... Same experience he...

*edit* Forgot to say the pockets are fine for a phone. Also handy for stashing gps, etc. If you leave your bike at a shop/cafe, or when putting the bike away at the end of a ride.
