My 29" Velocity Blunt (35mm) rear wheel with XT hub has had the head pop off of 2 nipples in the last couple of months, the wheel is about 3 years old, it survived the Cairngorm loop 18 months ago. Just wondering why the nipples have failed, is it normal ? I have had broken spokes before but th...

Just throwing this in the ring, I `ve never used a quilt so I don`t know, but could I assume a quilt is not ideal for a "active" sleeper?

I couldn`t get the Apidura bar bag to "sit" properly without potentially rubbing the head tube so now use a Wildcat Lion harness, as Colin says, pack it wide not long.

According to my Dad, he used to tell me this all the time when I was a nipper, that the fine paper like bark of Silver Birch trees would burn as kindling even if it was wet, hopefully that would get it going and maybe help with burning damp wood?

Carbon seatpost, Carbon frame
To stop the seat post seizing in the frame, I would use normal grease or copperslip on a alloy post in a steel frame but with a Carbon post in a carbon frame do I have to use special carbon grease or would copperslip be ok?
