I think when doing the BB200, Steve and I both came to the same conclusion that the WRT was more our type of event, social and not really against the clock. Once that clock was ticking on the BB200 there was pressure to keep up a decent pace(not that we did) and it just wasn't as enjoyable, for us a...

Also been with Sierra cycling twice, just for a couple of day rides whilst staying a few miles away, and it's pretty much like the STW thread said. :shock:

Tried the lighter weight "road" version which had a weight limit of 7kg like the MTX, no problems for me but when I lent it to a mate he snapped it, with, at most 3kg in a dry bag.
Not sure just how strong the MTX's are.

Lanzarote is good, have a look at Club La Santa. Road riding groups/mountain bike groups are out every day.
Bit windy but a nice temp in the run up to Christmas.
Bit pricey but when you factor in all the free organised sport it's not a bad price.

Quite like IanB's Zpacks cuben tarp thingumajig, maybe with an optional bug nest if its got to be ground shelter but otherwise my new Blackbird seems to be the dogs do dah's.

Was trying to get a referral as I've private health care which will pay for things like physio but all four doc's keep fobbing me off, even though it'll cost the NHS nowt.
