No two heads are the same. I'd recommend visiting as many shops as you can to try a range of manufacturers. I've always bought mine when they've been on sale. I agree fully with this. I was all set to splash a load of cash on a fancy helmet only to find it didn't fit my (possibly unusually shaped) ...

Am gonna have the best tool kit holdall in town. The envy of my fellow riders when I need to repair a puncture and when they see my tool kit 'holder' being peeled open in front of them, they'll wish it wss indeed them that'd had the puncture so they could ask me to borrow my Bearbones Tool Kit Roll...
