As above - spray lightly to avoid dribbles. Two or three thin coats is better than the 'lenon drizzle' effect.

Spacemen 3. It's been a while... I've been returning to some of their/his stuff, off the back of Spotify throwing up some Spiritualised. Johnny Flynn - Lost in the Cedar Wood This is in collaboration with Robert Macfarlane and is fabulous . It’s folk at it’s best , with a touch of Alt-J , Mumfords,...

Tarts aside, there's a lot of riding there for a "couple of days" tagged onto the start of a trip.

Hi Rich, sorry - add the money to the Jennride pot. The tracker is live, I'll make sure it's tracking and get it set up for you.

Wow! RRP of £730 for a fancy watch/distraction device? Even half price is eye-watering...........
I know some folk have more cash than time and need to maximise training seconds etc, but

Re: Shimano brakes

Then I noticed a constant stream of air bubbles out of the caliper This is surely just the classic 'pressure release' - happens on bottles of fizzy pop, volcanoes etc. If pressure is reduced, fluids expand and gas bubbles form. The rubber pipe is larger bore than hydraulic hose - it's why it felt h...

Re: North Lakes Spring Break - 19-20th March

Well that was sunny. And windy. Apologies first of all: Ton/asposium - We missed you - we were in the Sun Inn from 2 to 2.40ish, then were too late for Whinlatter cafe, bypassed Lorton to get to the Kirkstile Inn, which was full and not serving anyone else. Which left us in the Comms black hole of C...

Re: North Lakes Spring Break - 19-20th March

Lorton Village Shop - lovely folk, but think artisan local produce and 2040 prices (based on current rate of inflation). They do coffee, pies and cake though.
Braithwaite may be a better bet, if needed.
Or #packmoresh.......

Re: North Lakes Spring Break - 19-20th March

Final update/info - hopefully everyone coming will still have access to see this. START : 10am. Previous info stated Kat's Kitchen next to Keswick Bikes, but it won't be open til 10am. The best bet for earlier food/coffee is The Filling Station Cafe, Crosthwaite Rd, CA13 5PR, (NY264243) https://www....

I've been looking for tickets to Inverness, for a Badger Divide trip. £135 from Carlisle - unless you go on any Tuesday afternoon at 3pm, when it's £23. :???:

Lets not forget that well done organisation of an event can change some minds and lead to acceptance :-bd It’s not going to change a footpath into a bridleway though is it? You never know. We've seen bigger changes than that in cow country with gaining some acceptance. No. Its a protracted official...

Swapped the Lauf Grit on the Hipster Hybrid, for some carbon rigids. Forgot to order 12mm adaptors in advance, so will have to wait for the gravel test.
