Good spot!

"Weight restrictions" - isn't that a bit personal, or are they taking a hard-line approach to TLS principles?

26x2.4 inches of rubbery loveliness was just forced through my letterbox :-bd .

This Maxxis Ardent will make an excellent front tyre for the rejuvenated skip-bike, in preparation for an entertaining Winter Event  .

Re: Whats your trouser of choice?

Aldi "adventure trousers", on sale a few months ago. Black, stretchy, windproof, quick-drying and cheap enough (£13) not to worry about trashing them. And they fit :-bd .

Or if the weather's really gopping: waterproof shorts, Gore-Tex gaiters and walking boots.

May I suggest the reader draws inspiration from the monthly RegRides, documented herewithin?

It provides plenty of suggestions for riders of a more civilised persuasion

Re: Are you analogue?

I'm also a bit fed up of the increasing rise in sprocket numbers with a need to go to electronic shifting to make 12 speed work. Hence use of one sprocket! 3x7 (22/32/42 & 11-32 on 26" wheels) gives me all the range I need. Any lower and I'd be too slow to stay upright  . Just gone b...

I am also on the look out for a Series III Land Rover to embrace a more simple way of motoring (simple means sh1t and unreliable, but with soul) Analogue Land Rovers are currently very overpriced and, as you say, corroded and unreliable  . Given my age (32) and my job (web development) I would say I am unusually ‘analogue’. He says, typing this on his phone and wearing a smartwatch. I think peak analogue/manual was intentionally buying a second hand push mower and having to take it apart and sharpen the blade, instead of an electric ...
