Re: Redshift shockstop suspension stem

Redshift Shockstop Stem. 90mm. £100 vs £150 new. Happy to post, or can pick up in SW London. Cracking bit of of kit in good condition with all elastomers - there is one elastomer currently in the stem. Really improves ride quality - I’m selling because I had a bike fit and was told I needed a longe...

Re: What powerbank

I have an Anker, I'll stick with them after they replaced my unit that got buggered during a river crossing on that really nasty BB200 before lockdown as a gesture of good will, was open with them what happened and asked if repair was possible?

Re: King Alfreds Way.

I did it in one go a couple of weekends ago, bigger grippier tyres would be much nicer.

I did it on rigid adventure bike 29x2" and that was ok

Re: Bargain Alert Thread

Same for me, i noticed the product code on the invoice and website was not the same as on the filter that was delivered so contacted customer service on web form. I got an email a couple of days later apologising and they sent the bottle a couple of days after that. I now have a bottle and spare fil...

I'm going to do some trips with our Springer Spaniel this summer too, been doing some biking with her already which has gone well so on to dog bikepacking trips now. Like you we will need to take the tent due to lack of brainpower or self control but the spaniel is even worse 😄 Want to get into bike...

How about a new Downmat lite for £76 https://www.outdoorgb.com/p/Exped_Downmat_Lite_Sleeping_Mat/ or a UL7 Synmat for £106 https://www.outdoorgb.com/p/Exped_SynMat_Ultralite_7_Sleeping_Mat_with_UL_Schnozzel_Pumpbag/ They are tempting! I use a thin, cheap one set the moment inside my hunka bivvy, I'...

Yes, gets it done

I believe indoor is allowed but as Stu said probably defeats the object a bit, that said 500km on a trainer, I'd rather be out in bad weather😅

Re: Bargain Alert Thread

I'll second the Mezcal, have the grey sidewalls in 29x2.6 and really like the mix of fast rolling but good enough all round traction. But as with many things, out of stock for now  Keep an eye on Banana Industries site, they have good prices on Vittoria tyres, when in stock. Got mine for £17 ...

Narrow for the 29 rims, not used that size before, I'd say 2.1 to 2.4? Max clearance is 2.6 i believe
