Re: The Ridgeway.

I attempted this in November, and only got 6miles in before the storm and gust of wind gave me mild hypothermia, ( I shouldn't have been out after just getting over a viral) it was almost un-riderable in the wet, with mud at the beginning that is very very rutted going up hill, something I only ever...

I have not tested stand alone all with tarp shelter but i will set it up alone soon to test how well it does by its self. The other kelty version has...

The bag is 35mm to long on the seat tube for my bike, can it be modified to fit or just squeeze it in, all other dimensions are spot on and is the bag still available?

Dulyn bothy
http://www.walkingforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=21967.0
Has two routes in and out that are quite good and a bit testing.
Or a park at the bottom and hike up and over shorter walk.

Done this bothy twice and it is excellent for night time star gazing.

Take you own fire wood and some candels

Yes I have custom size one from matt and it works perfecly, I like it even though I am an advocate for synthics fill.
I went for the over fill option in mine.
If you have a old down bag he can turn that in to a quilt for you for £50. :-bd

Re: Waterproof jacket (again)

Got the Rab myriad jacket today and it is excellent, it fits nice, sleeves are a bit long as someone said but I can live with that, jacket feels super soft and ligh on and my helmet fit under the hood perfectly.
Rab wins again
