Just reading through the posts and have to agree that a ride to a grid ref to get the next waypoint sounds brilliant. Even better if all the points are on one map?
I’m sure it will be fun whatever you plan.

P.s. red sauce

Sounds great. I liked the TCW and a bikepacking variation on it would be a wonderful alternative.

I've always enjoyed driving up on the day. leaving 5.30 to 6 from Torbay. missing a lot of the traffic while listening to the Stones, Led Zep & once into Wales Stone roses second coming. If you can get a foot long sub for Llanidloes on the way in you can have half for lunch & have half for a...

Great effort, that’s some trip! Especially the bottom of the moors bit.

Really enjoyed that too.
Did you have the guidebook or just the GPX file? Definitely a good inspiration for a ride. Also agree with you & Jam Bo, that bit around the bottom of the moors is a pain!
Cheers Rob

Bright yellow Carnac gloves from Planet X. Haven't tried them in really cold weather but I was surprised by the warmth and not feeling the wind. https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/CLCGC/carnac-gripper-gloves Probably not for really cold weather but time will tell. I've also got their 365 race gloves that...

Bought mine when gravel was evolving.... 32s but can take up to 40mm. Is that Crosser+?Bearbonesnorm wrote:C'mon, did no one get the memo ... a gravel bike can't have 32's. A crosser has 32's or is that now a road bike?. A gravel bike needs at least 40's to be a gravel bike ... I believe it's the law.
