29er wheels. Where from?

Got a Niner on its way for the wife's birthday but no wheels as of yet for it.
Anybody know of any fantastic deals going on at the moment.
Don't have to be tubeless or super light, just not really heavy or really spendy.

Pretty much moon on a stick.

Re: 2012 Bivvy* a month challenge

Nothing really exciting to report. Pics were all pants. Pub for tea. Lots of beer. Walk about 30 minute to a hill fort. Find a spot out of the wind. Try and sleep. Walk back to the car so I can go home and sleep on the sofa. That's February ticked off. I must remember to not invite Dan again, or at ...

Re: Bike Bags

Got a soft bag and used a cardboard box before and I've had both ripped open. I've also seen both being "thrown" onto the conveyor belt whilst sitting on the plane and through the curtains at the start of the baggage reclaim. Cardboard box was Heathrow to San Francisco, one pedal missing. ...

Re: 29er tyre suggestions please???

First time I tried tubeless I used a tube to seat the beads, then I thought "whats the point" I've got to take a bead off to get the tube out.
Never had any problems since my first attempt which was probably due to incompetence.

I was quite relieved when I lost a shangri la 3 on eBay by £8.
I don't really need it.

Re: OS maps for WRT

OS select can make custom maps centred where you want.
Last years WRT was over 2 maps, with the magic of custom maps I managed to ditch the weight of one of those maps and have everything on one sheet.

Re: balloon beds

IIRC ballon beds were supplied with a safety pin to deflate the original bed so I'm guessing the balloons weren't meant to be re-usable.
Hence the bags of latex balloons they supply on their site.

robust does tend to equal heavy/bulky.

Pretty much what I was going to say.

I've got a DPM basha and goretex bivi bag, whilst it works, it's just so heavy compared to more modern materials.
