My go-to bikepacking bike is my Longitude and I always thought my next bike would be a gravel bike.

Although fearing the next few months all I'll be able to do is ride the gloopy local trails I've just bought a rigid SS out of the classifieds as my lockdown bike.

I started to "trial" the new app on a few local walks, it's a bit clunky crashing once and not recording on another walk.

Not too impressed myself, luckily I only pay the annual subscription so will wait and see before I cancel.

Due to a nasty bout of sciatica I'm currently off the bike for a few weeks. Requesting a medical note off Dr Reg and Dr John please. Hopefully complete mine as soon as I can spend a night on a cold mat in the garden without waking up the neighbours by shrieking in pain every time I try to move. :lol:

Made the mistake of "proudly" showing it to my daughters... they've been going round all day calling me a boner!

I've already written off Spring and Summer. I'm just hopeful that I might be able to do some sort of WRT type event in say September next year.

First priority for me is to be able to get back into Wales for either rides or bivvy'ing.
