Re: Weekend plans?
1st Comp Safari event for about 4 years. We* drove the 1st incarnation of the truck beyond some of the driveline's limits, so we went back to the drawing board and completely redesigned and rebuilt it. Finally ready to get it back out there and see if the concept works. The only bit of Hilux left is...

Re: Electric cars - impressive.
It is impressive, but I can't get past what we do to get the raw materials to make the batteries and what we do with them when they are worn out... Not to mention how the electricity is generated that we use to charge them. Having said all of that, very impressive engineering and one of my favourite...

Re: Dartmoor 200. September 18th
Would you be open to slow riders who are not in a particularly fit condition at the moment? I like the look of your route and very much appreciate you putting it together. I live around these parts and have been thinking about getting off my backside and riding on the moor again. I envisage that I w...

Haven't worn it for a good while though...
I currently have 17 (or 18) BB tee shirts. They have their own drawer!

Re: Pembrokeshire - how (not) to do it
I was in Pembrokeshire last week and enjoyed the area, including Barafundle Bay. I did keep seeing gravel type bikepackers around and wondered what they were up to. A quick Google told me about the PCR, which I had never heard of. Sounds good. May be tempted one day.

Try Simon Aske of Aske Bikes in South Devon.
He'll listen to what you want, carry out a full bike fit and make what you want/need.
www.askebikes.co.uk
Plus he's a great chap.
I have had my custom Aske bike for just over 2 years now and still love it.
Cheers,
Si

You make a difference Stuart. Like others have said already. I am now definitely anti-campfire. That is down to you. I have even been known to "bag it up" and bring it back with me to avoid leaving "waste" behind... Education is the best tool. My wife Fi is as evangelical as you....

Shall have to revisit the calendar. I, like some others didn't expect the good news to happen so soon.... I already moved our visitors from the weekend before due to a rescheduled bike event. They are going to think I am well weird to ask them to delay again for the same reason 😂😂 I would be gutted ...

Re: Wtd rigid fork 26er
Are you anywhere near the South West? South Devon to be more precise... If not, I can pack and weigh the forks to see how much it will cost to post them. I took a look on eBay and the only Kona P2 forks on there were all cantilever bossed models and were all over £50! I would take £30+postage. Let m...
