Re: Admiring the night sky - for how much longer?
One good aspect of all the internet satellites going up is that eventually all the ground based mobile phone masts will become redundant so they could all be taken down. With all the masts they're going to need for 5G, I don't think this is likely. Apparently they are going to be installed on build...

Re: Custom Frame Bag
Custom made bag from bike-bag.co.uk for my On-One Fatty Trail. Made from a template, fits well though not used in anger yet. Probably not completely waterproof at stitching, logo stitching goes through. £51.00 + £9.50 for map pocket +£5.95 postage https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1u2wb...

Re: Forum update changed from 4th April to 5th April at 9am
First impression looks good, clean and easy to read. However, there used to be an 'Active threads' list which amalgamated active threads from all sub-sections; I can't see this now. I used this as it was an easy way to read through the most recent posts without having to go back and forwards to the ...

Re: Watery eyes, your solutions.
I've had this for a long time and haven't found a solution. I'm told it is probably dry eye syndrome or even blepharitis, caused by glands in the eyelids clogging up. I've tried drops, sprays and now heated eye mask with, so far, little effect. As soon as I go outside, especially when cold, it start...

Re: Cycling /Hiking boots suggestions
This probably isn't much help, but I have a pair of Specialized Sawpits. I really like these and they had lots of good reviews but don't seem to be available any more. Unfortunately the soles are starting to break up and I need to replace, so far haven't found anything else I like.

Re: Barkley Marathons....
There's a video somewhere of two guys doing this. They stuck together until the last lap when one of them went ahead. There is a time limit to finish, I think it is 60 hours and failure to complete in time is a DNF. The first guy made it and the second one missed by literally seconds. I think there ...

Who was carrying the woodburner stove and chimney at about 7:00min? And split firewood at about 3:00min? Great big pot for the mussels. I guess they don't claim to be self-supported. Clearly just for the filming.

My wife just showed me this - www.ridersmate.com/mountain-biker/ - and wondered if anyone knows anything about it. Her interest is as a horse rider. Activates if you fall off but also tracks your route.

Also, why does the video make it look like the entire trail is one continual climb?
