Re: Thermal Legging Recomendation

The zips gone on my faithful Endura leggings, so i'm looking for a new pair. Any recommendations? Something with shorter legs would be a bonus. Happy to go with Endura again as i've easily gotten my money out of them but open to recommendations. ta You should be able to get them repaired Chew. I've...

Re: Any good deals on Edge 200?

If you can stretch to the 500 it's got a lot more to offer Stu. Was a bit disappointed with the 200 i had & was secretly glad when it died because it gave me an opportunity to get a 500 when i took it back..

Re: Lluest Cwm Bach - between Christmas + NY?

30-40 miles each way. Me and Stu ride at a steady pace, so about 5-6 hours of riding/pushing/bog snorkling  From Rhayader it would be a case of following the reservoirs up the old rail track to the top dam and then somehow finding a route to the Bothy. From what i've read its abit boggy that...

Re: Lluest Cwm Bach - between Christmas + NY?

How far do you want to ride Jase? You're welcome to ride with Chew and me, we'll be setting off from SN871976 which depending on route could be 30 - 40 miles. The other options would be to ride in from Rhayader (I could send you a gpx if you wanted) or maybe meet us somewhere in the middle? That wo...

Re: Bargain Alert Thread

How do the 5.10's come up size wise? Big, Small, Normal? 5-10's are normally quite big, for the normal Spitfires go for at least 1/2 size down to your normal footware (not cycling shoes). The canvas Spitfires come up a bit smaller, so you shouldn't be far off with your normal size. There's hardly a...

Re: How do you keep your feet warm?

I've got a pair of Ground Effect Zig Zags & they're brilliant socks, closely followed by some Woolie Boolies. Much prefer these over Sealskinz any day, don't like the way that the seal skinz let water in through the ankle & then hold it in the sock. Never tried Endura or Lidl in comparrison ...
