I was going to say "this will be more compelling to watch, than BGT" but I think it deserves much more praise than that.

Re: Do you own an unsuitable bike?
Well, according to a lot of motorists, all bikes are unsuitable.
On a more positive note, I'm changing jobs next month, so my 60 mile round trip, by car, becomes an 8 mile round trip by bike - mostly on reasonable cycle paths.
Happy days

That's a bit like those leather covers that our American cousins use, to protect the front of their cars fr...

Re: Locks, for commuting, superlight, strong and reliable...
This discussion raises the issue of what constitutes good infrastructure, and I feel that secure storage for bikes is often overlooked. In larger towns and cities, it should be easier, due to the potentially higher demand for such facilities. Maybe councils could use some of the empty shop buildings...

I'm doing a similar outing in June from my home in Wareham Dorset. We are calling it the three ferries tour as I've included Sandbanks, Hengistbury and the Link ferry in the ride. Not quite "lost", but I once stashed some beers in a place that I knew I'd be riding past, with friends, about 2 weeks later. They were still there, when required, and the looks on their faces when I disappeared into the under growth, and emerged with 4 chilled beers, was priceless Callin...
