Re: Anyone follow a strict diet ?
Reminds me of when I smoked Dr always said that was the reason for any chest infection. That said , like weight, its unhealthy so they will mention it to you. Whether you want to act or not is your decision. I used to get bronchitis every year, when the cold weather used to hit my lungs in the autu...

Re: Roswheel Bags. Any experience?
a friend of mine had one of their seat bags (about 3 years ago)
it was long and thin so you were restricted in what you could put in it
also so long that it swayed a lot (even when straps really tightened)

Re: Have I f&@#ed up my jacket?

It says perfect for SUV bikes - no idea what that means, is that like a gravel MTB ebike that’s doubles as a hybrid?

Always used strong light ones and never had any issues
I did try some double hex ones from wolf tooth, they were made of alloy, but soft cheese would have held up better

I really like my son28 for a hub - works very well
Cant comment on rims, as I’m in that dilemma myself, as trying to pick something robust

I was going to suggest back country Scot as that’s where I got my spares from, but see you’ve tried there already
Will have a look in the loft to see what I’ve got
Edit - looks like the bikemonger has some

Re: GRRR. Cracked rim again
Towards the end of the HT550 route the bike was creaking a bit.......every drive side spoke hole had cracked. Stans mk3 32H. On top of that the sharp edge of the rim had chewed through the tyre bead front and back so I had to stick tubes in. Utter poor show. Rebuilt using DT swiss M502's and haven'...

GRRR. Cracked rim again
Ok so I’ve got a cracked rim again (Both Stans Arch M3s, always on Rear wheel drive side spokes) First time was on my hard tail, second time now on my bouncy bike. I’m not usually that hard on my components, but the same rim failing in the same way twice Not sure its up for the extra weight/hammerin...

for me a little bit of Agnes Obel. something very simplistic and melodic.
discovered her recently as they used her music as a theme tune to Vigil the TV series.
it’s growing on me with every play
