Re: Todays ride

Did another 22 miles of my Justice for Aafia Siddiqui 100 miles mtb challenge/attempt. Planned on getting out early morn. But 0530 came, prayers done and I was too knackered... Managed to get out at about 1000 or 1100. Decided early that I'll be taking pics looking back at the trail that I'd ridden....

Re: RAPAH500 - anyone doing it!

Oh... and them centuries as well as the mtb miles remaining. I just can't stop thinking about the pressure sore risk since I've been off for so long. Plus, the old glass back might not be too happy! Hands were giving me lots of 'gyp' during this first ride. Them thick winter gloves obviously don't l...

Re: RAPAH500 - anyone doing it!

Well, I kinda started it. But haven't fully committed. Instead I've decided to do my Justice for Dr Aafia Siddiqui rides in the form of a 100 miles on the mtb. Took the mate out on the 24th who's a newcomer to mtb and I might have made the route a bit too tough... In order of climbs that probably di...

Re: Outdoor Active - is it now that we lose all our ViewRanger maps?

Right, so the 'zoom in' for OS didn't work for me. But Iverecently changed phones which may be the cause. Redownloading huge chunks now from OA. Will report back with what it does in offline mode after this...

Re: Outdoor Active - is it now that we lose all our ViewRanger maps?

Yes, agreed. That's been the same for some time sinceoving to OA. I really used to appreciate the OS maps downloaded on the phone via ViewRanger

I wonder if there's another option that's almost as good in functionality...

Thats the one Stu. Thanks. I wanted to use the word 'russian aero engineers' but wasn't sure. It appears from the front page they're still managing to get em built during these 'difficult trading conditions'.
