http://cloud.danielgroves.net/IHQK1tGUjx/20170607-DSCF4030.jpg Another from a few months back that I just got to. Think this was shot with a 10-stop ND, but it may have been the 6-stop. I don't recall exactly now. I just wish I'd shot it from a tad higher so the top of the last post doesn't hit the...

Don't think I ever shared this either. Self-portrait from a divvy on the summit of Helvellyn on the Aug bank holiday.

Re: Photos you have taken in the last month of which you lik

Cool, thanks all. That actually makes sense, I think I was looking at the logo individually to the image, but as soon as you look at the thing as a whole that makes perfect sense.

Going to experiment a bit with size, translucency, colour and placement and see where that leads.

Re: Photos you have taken in the last month of which you lik

Very nice Dan. Different to your usual fair and in a good way. Logo is nice, but could be a bit smaller. Detracts from the image where it is located. Thanks Greg. Still playing with the balance in terms of size of the logo, I think the bottom left is the most out of the way to place it though. I'm ...

Going to brake the rules a bit today. Might even make a habit of it over the next couple of weeks if I don't get told off  Shot this last feb, but only got around to editing it last week. This was during some winter mountaineering in cumbria during the brief bit of snow, on Skiddaw. There also...

Everything shot on the Fuji X-T1, but I was carrying a fair size setup for the trip (tripod, filters, etc)

I couldn't tell you why, but I really like that last shot Greg. There's a really nice grain to it. Thanks Dan, that is why I like to take photos like this. I utterly adore when a shot fades to empty. I was hoping the heavy fog I've been seeing from the commute all week would hang around for the wee...

160/160 on both bikes.

Salsa has Avid G2s or whatever they're called because that's what it came with.

Re: shimano disc pads with fins .....worthwhile??

One of the third party brake companies used to do a separate finned back and pads so you only needed to replace the actual pads when they'd worn. Can't remember who it was though. That'll be Uberbike. I'm trying their pads now, and I really can't say I've noticed any difference over the normal Shim...

Interesting idea, would want to see how effective they actually are being buying.

Not convinced on the whole two-in-one drinking system and inflator idea.

Should be pretty easy, you'll need: * Singlespeed Chainring (https://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/CROOSS/on-one-stainless-chainring - £20) * Rear Sprocket (included in below) * Rear Sprocket Spacer Kit (https://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/SKOOSSKK/on-one-singlespeed-converter-kit - £10) * Chain (https://www.on-one...

What do you mean by 'blown out'?
Something that's "blown out" is where the highlights are over-exposed so you don't have any detail left, aka the highlights are pure white.
