Finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel for a project that's been dragging on for nearly a year now, and is six months late at work. Excited to see the back of it at the very least :-bd

Will be driving up from Bristol Thursday morning, but I'll be good to catch you all at the bivvy spot (Scale Tarn in the plan looking at that map?) if I don't make it up to Brathay Hall before you get there.

Amazing effort, nice write up, thanks. Really enjoyed reading that.

It's been floating around the back of my mind for a little while now, so it's good to read something from someone outside of the mass start.

Re: Adventure cycle festival

Anyone planning to head out for some evening group rides? I'm going to order a ticket on payday and head up for it. Would be good to head out to the pub for a bite and pint and then divvy somewhere if anyone else is up for it? Would rather spend money on food and beer than campsite fee's anyway…

Re: Tubeless... what do you carry in case of emergency

I just keep a spare tube and a couple of patches in my bag. When I've split the sidewall before I've just applied a normal inner tube patch to the inside of the tyre. Often I've had enough success with this to not even need the tube.
