Anyone planning to head out for some evening group rides? I'm going to order a ticket on payday and head up for it. Would be good to head out to the pub for a bite and pint and then divvy somewhere if anyone else is up for it? Would rather spend money on food and beer than campsite fee's anyway…

I just keep a spare tube and a couple of patches in my bag. When I've split the sidewall before I've just applied a normal inner tube patch to the inside of the tyre. Often I've had enough success with this to not even need the tube.
