Is it 28mm gravel king or 40c nano tyre territory?
Could this be the earliest ever "what tyres" thread before an event has even been announced?

To solve the aero bar angle sorted get yourself these https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5733/21710772096_8a8225e32f_n.jpg I cut mine in half through their long length so they hide under the clamp and out of sight, wrap then in place with electrical tape and they level up that area perfectly. http://www...

A Cumulus Quilt 150 A quick question - there are three shockcord loops across the underside, two are large and about 150cm in length but the middle one is maybe only 15cm long. I assume that I need to replace this with one of the spare cords supplied with the bag? Shock cords go, long (wrap around ...

Re: Halloween weekend - North West England bivi

I'd love to join you but I'm fat bike racing in Holland the weekend after so there is not point asking SHMBO this time.

One thing to note, getting more than 3 or 4 riders with bikes on the 2 trains you will need from Liverpool to Leeds may be an issue with the train guards.

Re: Bikepacking options from/near Liverpool

If the weathers ok I'd go with Wotsit's idea of the south lakes or the Todmorden area. If it's bad I'd take the Canal towards Leeds, as the wind (and rain) will at least be on your back all the way, plenty of cheeky bivi options out of the towns and plenty of places to eat in the towns. Get the trai...

After thinking up the idea before I saw this post

I found that the metal on the bar ends was malleable enough to stretch over the wrapped bars and I closed them up with longer bolts.
