Re: WWB - now with added details.

Sounds about right - although we did get a special badge after 2014, it was almost an acknowledgement that it may have been a little too extreme . . .

For the front page where are you based please?

Are you and Gasman riding together or need 2 entries?
We're Sheffield based and will be together

Unbranded - think Bikepacking but on horses, also discussed the situation they have in America with wild horses. Found it a great thoyght provoking watch

Re: Powdered Drink Mix

It wasnt the powdered fire juice drinks you are thinking if? Birds Apeel was the one we sometimes had - not fizzy but had a sherbet type zing to it. Kellogs also did more flavours of their version Rise and Shine

I have find memories - but I'm sure it would actually be dreadful to have it now

Re: Is a Fargo unique?

Dave I have to say I love my ti Fargo, it is a mountain bike but does a great job as a monster cross type tourer too. Mine is set up for my dodgy neck so probably wouldn't be the position most would opt for - but I think Paul G in hathersage has one . . . For when meeting up is allowed again. Shona ...

Re: King Alfreds Way.

I work with Cycling UK on a few things and tried to get a cheeky look in advance at the route, no luck - understandably! Labrat is right so much work goes into this stuff so best to wait for the final result.

Sounds like the inaugural ride will be a good one :)

Re: Brompton slow Puncture saga...

Are the valves seated in the tubes properly?

Dont have any problems with mine, so cant think of anything 'brompton specific' other than the valves being a pain with some pump heads, but I cant see it would be that easy to dislodge the actual valve insert.

Re: How far north can you get ont' train?

Looked at a random date for tickets as we have thought about this. Came up with 400+ for two of us - this reduces to 280ish with a two together rail card. As you can buy a two together railcard for 30 (or just £10 of Tesco clubcard vouchers) it seems like a no brainer to get one if you can share the...

Bike bags for planes . . .

Any recommendations, have previously used a CTC bag for a flight but I may be feeling a Little more precious with my new bike

Trying to find details of the left luggage size allowance at the airport so it may be that we need a collapsible bike bag

Any insight would be appreciated
