Re: Paramo Quito, anyone have one?

I know the feeling CM.

That's what puts me slightly off the showerspass.

It has vents but not as we know it.

Where as the Quito has full arm pit vents.

Paramo Quito, anyone have one?

Thinking of getting a winter weight waterproof.

Two mates have a showerspass, refuge I think, and they both approve.

But I've also seen online the paramo Quito which looks great with good ventilation

So any reviews please?

So Tonto,

I hope it wasn't you who had left a phone on charge in the cafe in Ableside on the Sunday.

Re: Derailieur on / off. Eh?

Fab. So default is "on" for general riding. "Off" only when fiddling with rear wheel. Cheers

I find the settings are very similar to the lockout on forks & are:

Off - to remove the rear wheel
&
Off - because I've forgotton to turn it back on.

Re: FS: Surplus Wildcat Gear (more added)

Ian,

Apologies but I am in buckle hell.

I've got it all sorted except for buckle 'd'

For the life of me I can not thread the strap in to the buckle & get it to stay tight.
I am sure there will be plenty there tomorrow to help including Karl & Pete, but thought I'd ask anyway.

Slow 18 months ago, that'll be my fault, but at least we went up to High Street the sensible way.

Well done Pete.
Good effort and keep drinking.

yd200 - doing it this w/e

Hi all,

I am having a go at doing the YD200 this w/e with a mate.
(2 weeks late I know - sorry)

We are planning on bivvying somewhere on the PBW section that passes through Hell Gill.
It's forecast to be dry this week so do you think those gills will have water in ?
