I've been using these for a couple of years now without any problems :

I also use some inner tube on the fork to improve the grip.

In black preferably. I know they're not expensive but just wondering if anyone has one going spare they want rid of before I start trawling the interweb.

mounting instructions for wildcat mountain lion
Hi folks, I've just received an older version of this harness purchased off fleabay, but unfortunately it hasn't come with any fitting instructions. I don't suppose anyone has any they could forward onto me? If not I'll try and figure it out!!

Re: Which part of the world do you live, and do you like it?
Lived in Ayrshire for 10 years. .. its ok I guess, affordable housing and good transport links. I've got Galloway Forest/hills and Arran on by doorstep with the highlands just a couple of hours away.

GoPro copies .. how have they been?
I know a few folk on here acquired those gopro copies from amazon before Christmas, so just wondering how they've been performing on your trips? (I've read the thread on STW so just looking for fellow bikepacker thoughts?)

It was the montane 'batpack' that I got from blacks at the weekend...however I've just looked on their site and can't find it anywhere so I guess it's sold out. Sorry!

Re: new alpkit stuff (again)
Shame the Ti water bottle isn't bigger, maybe 750ml with a wider mouth. Could have doubled as a water bottle / cooking pot. That's exactly what I was thinking Stuart... I've been swithering over a Vargo BOT as a dual purpose water carrier/pot but it's pretty pricey, then when I saw this from Alpkit...

The montane is currently half price at Blacks, 40 down to 20 quid. I ordered one today online for store pick up in a few days.

Looking for a cheaper alternative
Hi,
I really like the look of this Vargo bottle bot but frankly couldn't justify the £90 price tag.

I don't suppose anyone's seen an alu version anywhere?
Cheers
