Re: More frame gear, long burn project

Thanks guys. I was in the Purple nasties. Specially cut for biking. The are curved at hips and knees, have mesh uppers,( covered by rain jacket), an covered outer thigh vents. I made them about 2005. I never get cold in the rain.... It's not very clear but this is how the harness fits.. The octopuse...

Re: More frame gear, long burn project

The hardlebar harness bar bag combo. It has so many straps, a mate got exited and thought it was from S&M!
The strap at top go round bars, tube spaces.
the grey pvc strap tubes (picture centre) strap to forks. It has been really solid.

Re: Yet another frame bag

love the bladder loops. and cheap to boot! I like the bladder idea. It's a good idea to bind the seams. Even though the material is proofed, it will fray. -Turn your bag inside out. - Fold the tape in half and press this a warm iron first helps with handling. -Tape the smaller seam first such as th...

Re: Nylon sheets (Free of charge!)

If the are single (rather than loop) slide sheets, market as ltralight hammock, user supplies ultralight string, ahemm cord.

Re: Shed Extension. Oh Yes.

That’s well nice, Ray. Don’t you find the bikes get covered in dust when cranking up all the woodworking kit up? Very tidy though. Hope it stays like that. Enjoy!!!! Thanks. It won't stay tidy for long. I'm one of those people who will let it get in a mess, have a big tidy then vow not to let it ge...

Re: Need a new mat.. Exped worth a punt?

I have found the OEM Traverse IMX mat really Comfy and warm, at a budget £45 +£9 for the Pump dry bag. Good value and approx 450g. Available at go outdoor. Since All these mats are delicate I can not justify £ triple figures. https://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/15904974/oex-traverse-imx-sleeping-mat-159049...
