Any Kayaker's? Newbie tips wanted

I'm sure there's a few? I've recently bought a used Perception Prodigy II tandem touring kayak. I've not had it out on the water yet but we took the same boat out in Rursee on holiday. We really struggled to keep it going in a straight line but we'll keep practising. I'm looking for some general adv...

Re: Rabbit Hole Tubless Torment...

I've had/got tubeless knards on rabbit holes with the split tube method. I used schwalbe tubes from crc. It can be a little fiddly changing tyres in the future but is do-able.

Re: Campervan mattress

We have a Vango comfort 10 double, for £100. We've just done a 2 week trip around Germany with it, slept well enough but we've started to find that it needs topping up every day now. Neither of us have had back issues though. https://www.decathlon.co.uk/vango-comfort-10-double-camping-mattress-id_85...

Re: Stooge 19 deg bend bar

I've currently got some renthal motorbike bars on my rooster with a bmx stem. Nice and wide with a good amount of sweep. I've been pretty comfy on them but they probably weigh quite a bit and cant take bar end plugs as the wall thickness is quite thick. On a slight tangent how are people getting on ...

Re: £30 CRC Voucher, Ergon GP1 grips?

Shafiq, Thats what i've done but there's a 3 month expiry date on them looming so they need using before I lose them.

I think I've decided against the grips though. At the moment the only thing I could use is some headset spacers to replace the ones a friend gave me.

£30 CRC Voucher, Ergon GP1 grips?

Hi All, I have £30's worth of CRC vouchers to use up shortly but I can't really find anything I need. I'm considering buying some Ergon GP1 grips to try. I'm not particularly struggling with my current grips but they seem to have lots of positive reviews on CRC, are there any users here? I'm not sur...

I Carried a car battery in my rucksack across manchester as a student when I needed a new battery. Most recently a 3m length of plastic conduit and a car wishbone on the way home from work.

Alston - North Pennines

I've signed up to March Moto Madness (camping) at Haggsbank bunk house in Alston on 29th-31st March. The problem is my motorbike is still in bits and the frame is still at the powder coaters so i'm looking at back up plans. Any good routes up that way? I've paid for the campsite but i'm not against ...

The Troll looks like the sort of bike my partner would enjoy but I think she's about 5'8" ish so possibly a bit tall for the small? (ETA: small is to suit 5'4" – 5'8" 162cm – 173cm)

Out of interest what bike did you end up going for?

Re: Whats your experience of 2.4 vs 3.0 front tyres

For me, rolling resistance mainly affects the rear tyre as that's carrying more weight and doing the driving. The front is all about grip, comfort & roll over so I prefer the 3" if its dry enough.

Re: 650 or 700 dyno wheel

I'd say there's more/better/cheaper tyres available in 29"/700 than there is 27.5" which seems to be fairly new. WTB seem to have cornered the market and I don't personally rate them as being very durable.
