Some tent pegs from Joe at Wierdos on Bikes - thanks Joe! Planning a hike/camp with my dog, when the weather picks up (I'm a wuss) and the weight saving over the massive nails that I use with the big tent (car camping) will be appreciated. Now, I just need to resist the urge to buy a lighter 2 man (...

A new alpkit gamma headtorch, to replace the one which mysteriously died - after a decade of faultless service. I'm guessing that the faulty one will be the subject of dissection, tonight ;) Some axle bearing presses, so that I won't have to resort to an 18mm and a hammer, next time Unfortunately, ...

Never heard a name associated with that curve, either - despite growing up in the spirograph era... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spirograph Edit - apparently, we are still in that era... https://www.amazon.co.uk/Original-Spirograph-CLC03111-Design-Set/dp/B01BM616BM/ref=asc_df_B01BM616BM/?tag=goog...

I'll cut an inch off mine, for you...Quite a few on here have bought a jacket that's too big or too small. Personally, I'd like it if my Outdry had sleeves that were at least an inch longer

I need a better weather forecast app. Both yesterday and today we're forecast to be rain free. Yesterday was constant drizzle, and today looks to be heading the same way. If it drizzled it didn't rain. Let be clear , [wishful meteorphorically thinking] , - Drizzle sticks to your windows/coat...

Managed to shed a few kilos, last year, but seem to have stabilised, so need to focus on the next 5 or 6 kilos.

Re: Veloviewer map - explorer tiles
Finally dragged my road bike out into the real world, yesterday, and rode one if my planned tile-bagging routes. Opted for an 11% hill (it felt steeper) rather than rid along a busy A road, and was rewarded with a rather nice swoopy descent. This took me from 30x30 to 32x32, so was well worth it. Ne...
