shoe goo is very good for mending holes and splits in shoes. spread a thin layer over the hole/split and leave overnight.

looking for a pair of gaiters. the fancy berghaus yeti ones would be perfect. or anything really.

i mapped a route last night, taking in all the sources mentioned, i got near the mileage.
it would make a lovely 7 to 9 days tour for me at a leisurely pace, visiting a few hostelries along the way.

so on that not, i may enter, just for the route, and take my time.
