***WANTED*** 26" rear wheel & 165mm chainset

Building my old P7 for the lad now he seems to have a hit a bit of a growth spurt. I ran it single speed though so in need of a 26" disc rear wheel with a 9 spd hub. Also need a chainset with 165mm or less cranks, not bothered if its triple, double or single. Cheers

Re: I'll see your gravel bike and raise you...

I do same, it was the not being able to change whilst in a technical section I thought might be a problem.

I currently run Hylex brakes and bar ends so thought I might try the 1 x lever conversation when I Upgrade to 10spd

Re: I'll see your gravel bike and raise you...

They are Gevenalle...well actually these are older ones from when they used to be Retroshift with Dura Ace bar end shifters on. I'm a big fan, have Gevenalle on mx CX and a homemade version on my roadbike for a sturmey archer. I have been considering a set for my Fargo but the reviews seem a bit Ma...

Re: fargo question

Ran Jones on my Fargo for about 3 years and loved em, never really got on with the drops for bikepacking/proper mtb stuff. Had to run a stupid long 120mm and a whole stack of headset spacers to get position right though. The only downside I found was a lack of aero or tuck position on long road stre...

Re: Siren fred bar or similar in the uk.

Terry, I used the Fred bar to clamp some arm rests too then mounted some sawn down extensions to the front of my jones loops, it saved a ton of weight and gave access to fit a Tom cat in the loop. Been looking for a pic but cant find one. However took inspiration from the English Black Rainbow bike....

Waterproof short recomendations

My faithful Altura waterproof shorts have finally died a death. I have two sets of these and loved em, however the current version of them is a bit baggy enduro rider for me, not a good look when you have short legs  Anyone have any recomendations for alternatives? have you turned the screen brightness down. thats the biggest draw by far on a modern smartphone. and turn wifi/bluetooth/gsm off. Advice on using your phone as a bike computer / GPS

Ok so I lost my Garmin about 2 months ago. Rather than shell out £200+ for a new unit I thought I would try using my iphone. After all I use view ranger for backup navigation any way,I have a dynamo hub and sinewave to keep it charged and there are a number of apps for live cycling metrics. Any way ...

SOLD Wingnut Hyper 2.5 and Jones bars

Red and black Wingnut Hyper. Very small tear in lid which has been patched with tough tape, does not effect performance. Turns out I'm not as minimalist as I thought and only selling cause I need a bigger one  SOLD https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4287/34605069594_c042ca7f30_z.jpg Wingnut Hyper 2...
