Re: WTD: Pinnacle Arkose bars
I have a few sets knocking around from trying to find my perfect set up (currently waiting on some Easton EA70 ax), which might fit the bill, Nitto randonneurs; 45cm centre to centre, 25.4 clamp, not sure how much flare is but would guess around 4 degrees Salsa bell lap 46cm, 26 clamp original WTB d...

I was hoping you were going to order again Stu. Didn't order last year as I thought it wouldn't be required what with having a BB jersey. However I am so blooming nesh I dont think it came out from under another layer more than twice last year!

FS: Sawyer mini filter
Sawyer mini filter only used half dozen times, enough to know it's not for me. Comes with back flushing syringe, straw and instructions. The original bag split so has been turned into a scoop and replaced with another foldable drinking pouch, both are included. £12.50 posted or £10 if you want to co...

FS: Niner Carbon forks & Thule roof bar
Niner Carbon forks with QR dropouts, 1 1/8 straight steerer and 195cm steerer tube length. Have been helicopter taped and just a couple of light scuff to fork legs, otherwise in very good condition. Colour Root beer brown and you can just about squeeze in a 29+ tyre. £160 posted or £150 collected. h...

Re: Can I change from fat to thin(ner)
I take it you mean between the drop-outs. Front is 135mm with QR. I have a virtually new Velocity Dually rim with spokes for a 135mm Fatsno hub I am about to list, I pinched the front hub for another wheel build I am afraid. Also have a VeeTrax Fatty 27.5 x 3.25 and 27.5 x 3.0, PM me if they are of...

Re: LBS near stafford that stocks bikepacking luggage
Hi all, I'm looking for a LBS nearish Stafford that actually stocks bike packing luggage so that I can check to see if things fit on my bike before I buy them. The closest I've found so far is Keep Pedalling in Manchester which is a fair way so I was hoping someone would know of somewhere closer. P...

Re: anyone riding a jones plus? advice needed.
What bb does the surly od chainset use? I also would like to upgrade my 1 x 11 to 2 x 11. Is the surly od c/set not configured for 2x10 or will this still work with an 11 speed chain? Wow. Sorry about all the questions. Its a standard 73mm but will obviously work with 68mm with spacers. The ...

Re: anyone riding a jones plus? advice needed.
I have surly OD double that I no longer need. It is basically like a triple but does away with outer ring and shifts middle and granny rings outbound. Gives loads of clearance for plus tyres. Loved it on my Krampus, have a Stooge now so no longer needed.

Re: One for the Stooge owners
Dont forget its a rigid bike, so its made for riding over stuff not smashing through it. Totally agree with you their Chew and the only time I have found it wanting is at N. Welsh trail centres when trying to keep up with mates on FS bikes. And thats probably more a comment on my bike skills and ab...

Re: One for the Stooge owners
I use on-one Carbon Fat fork, right height and offset and can be had for as little as £90 in one of their fairly regular sales. Even if you factor in new hub and wheel build its still cheapest option. 3.8 Hoodag is also vaguely exciting for trail duties. Roll of 29+ with loads more cush. I ride a lo...

Re: One for the Stooge owners
Thanks folks ctznsmith, Should of guessed  29er with 2.4 front 2.2 rear but I also run RS forks which limit tyre size. I thought you could be burnt at the steak for putting FS on a Stooge  I used to run my Fargo in this set up though (minus the FS), it was good but defiantly not as capabl...

One for the Stooge owners
Right, I have a Ti stooge. My aim is that it should be the one bike for all with just a change of wheels. I have it dialled for trail duties with 27.5 x 3.0 rear and 27.5 x3.8 front. However this is a wee bit draggy for bike-packing, so I tried it set up with a trail-blazer 2.8 rear and VeeMax Fatty...

Closing down sale at the LBS near my work, I took advantage (I felt bad) and got their tester C15 and unridden C13 saddles for a bargain. Might go back and take advantage of the 50% and get another C15. Anyone else want one? I might change the Test to Testicle rest or similar... Oh can you get me a...
